I suffer from migraine since 2007. That was the year my body started alarming me something is wrong with my head and that something MUST change. That was 9 years ago. I just recently started to really look inside me and analyze why I got hit by Madam M. I remember the very first day I got a migraine crisis. Nowadays it is very popular to talk about quantum physics. So let's talk a bit about fractals. I am not sure if I get the term right. For me a fractal means just one thing: that the microcosmos is a reflection of the macrocosmos and vise versa simultaniously; not that the one precedes the other, like the eternal question about the egg and the hen (to all of you who still bang their heads on this - get a life, will ya?).

Tree magic for abundance

This Halloween was my spiritual birthday and a personal revelation of a deeper understanding of magic and the force within. I humbly gathered my tangible and intangible gifts and submerged into the realm of witches, spells, unicorns and flying pixies. It was refreshing, to say the least. My openheartedness and almost absolute lack of definitions of what this night should bring, helped me get onto the road to this most bizarre journey. For,

A few insights on art, cooking and tarot

Last week I started a new publication to share some thoughts of the day. I didn't sit down to write by the end of the evening. On the next day new impressions came to me and again, I couldn't find time to write. So, I'm gonna write whatever it flows out of me, and let's see what's gonna be the final title of this publication.

Tarot and other creatures

I am not a tarot pro, just fair enough for a self-respected wannabe-witch. I acquired my first tarot deck at my early teens, when I was 12 or 13-year old. I got my magic mojo even before that, in the times when I revealed my dark nature to the neighbourhood and people started to give me occult books and tarot decks as birthday presents, while my classmates received Fa deodorants and Nike t-shirts. Well, what to say, it was a matter of hobby afterall :)

Book restoration

Another passion of mine, except for the topics you read about on this website, is removing labels from books and book restoration. In general, I like recovering any kind of poor paper bodies: geographical maps, documents, etc. Once I've even put together a thorn off 2-leva bill that was, surprisingly, spent on the very same day without any problem.

Now, this won't be a serious ritual post. Actually, it will be, in a way. I wanna share a few thoughts about the strange case of Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hide, because of which, undoubtedfully, any feminist group around the globe would tie me to a stake and stone me forever. And I don't mean BDSM.

Gipsy blessing

I dare to share with you, almost immediately after its pubishing online, an interesting bit of a gipsy blessing, translated from German by Dr. Georgi Mishev, the author of "Thracian magic - past & present". He has translated the text from Wlislocki's version (Wlislocki, H. Volksglaube und religiöser Brauch der Zigeuner. Münster 1891, 68-69). According to the author, this custom has been performed by Bulgarian and Turkish gipsies in the end of winter time, before commencing their summer trips.
